Mini round nose pliers

A pair of low-cost mini side cutters with a wire-trapping guard spring which reduces the danger of cut component leads becoming airborne. Compact in size and ideal for users with smaller hands. For use in light industrial, hobby and educational applications. Lap jointed with PVC handles and a return spring in the centre. Overall length is 110mm.

These wire cutters are used in our own workshop, they are hard wearing and have proven ideal for many applications including; DCC conversions, layout wiring, wire cutting, trimming component leads, etc. These side cutters are very robust, we have gone through no end of various wire cutters from differing manufacturers over the years and have found these to be very reliable. A tried and tested product which sees heavy daily use, a testament to their quality.

These mini cutters can be used in most wire cutting applications, however owing to their miniature size are not suitable for wires over 2.5mm in diameter. So unless you’re going to cut thicker track bus wire they should be perfect for any other smaller applications. Being compact in size they are easy to store away when not used, and the red handles ease location when stored or on the workbench.
