Antex XS25W soldering iron – 230V 25W with silicon cable and 13A plug

Antex 230V mains powered 25W soldering iron fitted with a UK 13A mains plug and heat resistant silicon cable, meaning the soldering tip can rest against its cable without the risk of melting the insulation.

Antex are highly respected by both industrial users and hobbyists alike. Antex’s soldering irons have become one of today’s classic soldering tools. It is a tribute to the simple, yet highly effective basic design of the XS25W miniature electric soldering iron, that it has changed little over the years.

This soldering iron has an inner ceramic shaft which provides near perfect insulation with virtually no leakage (3 to 5µA), an outer stainless steel shaft for strength, and bits are held on the element shaft by an internal spring clip, bits simply slide on and off for changing making this process very easy. Just remember to change the bit when it has cooled down. Tests have proven that the Antex XS25W soldering iron has the equivalent soldering power to many other manufacturers’ 40W soldering irons. It has a temperature range of 420 degrees Celsius.

The Antex XS25W comes supplied complete with a 2.3mm chisel bit and 1.5m mains cable with a UK 13A plug. It is ready to use straight out of the box. Antex accessories are available for this soldering iron, including replacement 0.5mm conical bits, 1mm chisel bits, 2.3mm chisel bits, a slide on hanging hook and also the ST4 soldering iron stand.
